Meet julia

Inspired by Western Australia's boundless beauty, Julia Hales's watercolours showcase the best of our local birdlife and other subjects. Each painting is a labour of love and is inspired by her love of the environment, travel and fond memories of living both in Australia and New Zealand. Julia is a mountain biker, ocean dweller and mum of three special little humans. She spends her time between her original home town of Busselton and beautiful Exmouth.
